Apple Tests Automatic Tab Grouping Feature for Safari
Apple has started testing a smart new feature for its Safari browser. The feature, called Automatic Grouping for Tabs, will help users organise their tabs more easily. It is expected to arrive with the next major software updates — iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27.
How the New Feature Works
The tool builds on Safari’s existing Tab Groups. Currently, users create and manage groups manually. With the upcoming update, Safari will automatically recognise topics and organise tabs into relevant groups on its own. Moreover, users can switch between automatic and manual modes whenever they want.
According to reports, a new “Organise Tabs” option will appear in the centre-top button of Safari.
