Oppo Reno 16 Series Launch Confirmed for May 25 in China
Oppo will launch the Reno 16 series in China next week. The company will also introduce the Oppo Pad 6 tablet and Oppo Enco Air 5s earbuds at the same event. Moreover, the lineup includes two smartphones: the Reno 16 and the Reno 16 Pro.
Design and Pre-Order Details Revealed
Oppo has started teasing the design of the Reno 16 series. The company even listed the phone for pre-order on its official online store in China.
In a recent Weibo post, Oppo shared images of the new phone. The device features a square-shaped rear camera module with a triple camera setup, LED flash, and Reno branding. Additionally, the flat back panel displays the Oppo logo neatly at the bottom.
The phone comes with a flat metal frame. Furthermore, users will find the power button and volume controls on the right side. An extra button sits on the left side. The bottom edge holds a USB Type-C port between the speaker grille and SIM tray. Meanwhile, a secondary microphone appears on the top, along with antenna bands on both sides.
Colour Options and Storage Variants
Oppo offers the Reno 16 in three attractive colours: Galaxy Purple, Heartbeat, and Moonlight Is Dark. Moreover, the company provides multiple storage choices. Buyers can choose from 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB variants. In addition, the top model will come with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
Launch Date and Expected Pricing
The Oppo Reno 16 series will make its official debut on May 25 at 6 PM local time (3:30 PM IST). Furthermore, the Reno 16 Pro is expected to start at around CNY 4,000 (roughly Rs. 56,000). However, Oppo has not yet confirmed the final pricing.
