Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has surfaced on a benchmarking platform. This development reveals key details about the upcoming smartphone’s specifications and performance.
The device previously appeared on several certification websites. These include the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and GSMA. Now, the Galaxy S26 FE has shown up on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database. This listing points to a possible launch in the country very soon.
Samsung will likely equip the phone with a ten-core Exynos 2500 chipset. Moreover, this powerful processor also drives the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The handset may ship with Android 17 out of the box. Additionally, it could offer 8GB of RAM for smooth multitasking.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup. This design matches the standard Galaxy S26 model.
Experts spotted the Indian variant under model number SM-S741B/DS on the BIS site. The “DS” suffix confirms the dual-SIM configuration for India. Earlier, the phone received Qi2 certification on the WPC database with model SM-S741. It also appeared on GSMA with the same Indian model number.
In addition, the device supports up to 5W wireless charging.
The smartphone underwent Geekbench testing twice. In one run with model SM-S741U, it delivered strong results. The device scored 2,255 points in the single-core test. Meanwhile, it achieved 7,450 points in the multi-core test. These figures highlight solid performance from the Exynos 2500 chipset.
This new model will replace the Galaxy S25 FE. Samsung launched the predecessor in India during September 2025. The base 8GB + 128GB version started at Rs. 59,999.
The S25 FE boasts a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. This screen supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. It also reaches 1,900 nits of peak brightness for excellent visibility. Moreover, the phone runs on Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor.
