Vodafone Idea (Vi) announced a new partnership with Spotify on Friday. This collaboration aims to offer better entertainment options for postpaid customers in India. As part of the deal, eligible users will enjoy three months of free Spotify Premium.

Details of the Offer

Vi provides this benefit across selected Individual and Family Postpaid plans. Customers can activate or retain these plans to qualify. Moreover, they redeem the offer easily through the Vi app. The promotion targets both new and existing subscribers who have not used Spotify Premium before.

Individual plans priced at Rs. 451, Rs. 551, Rs. 751, and Rs. 1,201 (REDX) include the benefit. Family plans starting from Rs. 701 up to Rs. 1,601 (REDX Family) also offer it. However, only the primary account holder receives access on family plans.

Spotify Premium Benefits

Subscribers gain ad-free music streaming. They also enjoy offline downloads and superior audio quality. Furthermore, users can create custom playlists and explore personalized recommendations. The service includes over 100 million songs.

After the three-month period, customers can continue Spotify Premium. They pay Rs. 139 per month through Vi’s Add to Bill facility.

Company Statement

Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer at Vi, highlighted the partnership. He noted that the collaboration delivers a strong content experience. As a result, Vi becomes a preferred choice for entertainment-focused subscribers.

This move strengthens Vi’s postpaid offerings. It adds significant value for users who seek premium digital services. Additionally, the partnership reflects growing competition in India’s telecom sector.

The offer starts immediately for eligible customers. Users should check the Vi app for redemption steps. This initiative helps Vi attract and retain postpaid subscribers in a competitive market.
