Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Series Tipped for an October 7 Launch
Samsung could launch the Galaxy Tab S12 series on October 7, according to a new report. That would put the next flagship tablets on an early-October timetable. The date comes from an image shared by a tipster on X. The photo shows part of a Galaxy tablet beside the date. The wallpaper suggests the device could be the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
Samsung has not confirmed the date. It had earlier said the Tab S12 series would arrive in the second half of 2026. The lineup is expected to include three models, with an Ultra at the top.
Reports say the series could arrive in selected markets on October 7. Evan Blass posted the image on X. The tablet in the frame resembles the rumoured Tab S12 Ultra. Samsung has not confirmed the product or the timeline shown.
The expected models are the Galaxy Tab S12, Tab S12+, and Tab S12 Ultra. Recent CAD renders of the Plus and Ultra, reported by 9to5Google, suggest Samsung may keep last generation’s overall look rather than make a large design change.
Media reports say the Tab S12 Ultra could use a flat display with a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera. Black and silver finishes have been shown. S Pen support is expected. A dual rear camera with an LED flash is also rumoured.
Samsung may have other products in the same season. It has teased Android XR glasses for a fall debut. Reports have also mentioned Galaxy Buds On and a new Galaxy SmartTag. It is unclear whether those devices will share an Unpacked event or use another format.
October 7 remains a reported date only. Samsung has not made it official.
