Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 Launched in India
Poco has expanded its X8 lineup in India. The company unveiled the Poco X8 Power and the standard Poco X8 on Friday. These models join the recently launched Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max.
The Poco X8 Power comes in Black and Yellow. The Poco X8 ships in Black, Fiery Orange, and Frost White. Both smartphones will go on sale in India on September 11 via Flipkart.
Price and Offers
The Poco X8 starts at ₹29,999. The Poco X8 Power is priced at ₹35,999. Buyers can avail a ₹2,000 coupon discount and a ₹1,000 exchange bonus. This brings effective prices down to ₹26,999 and ₹32,999.
Specifications
Both phones run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. The company promises four OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
They feature a 6.83‑inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Victus 2 protection. Both carry IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Poco X8 Power is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 with up to 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The Poco X8 uses Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with LPDDR4x RAM.
Cameras
Both phones sport a 50‑megapixel primary rear camera with OIS. The Power model adds an 8‑megapixel ultrawide lens, while the standard X8 includes a 2‑megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the Power model offers a 32‑megapixel camera, and the X8 carries a 16‑megapixel shooter.
Battery and Charging
The Poco X8 Power packs a 10,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging. The Poco X8 has a 9,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
