Samsung Starts Selling Refurbished Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra in India
Samsung has begun selling refurbished Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra phones in India. The devices come through the company’s Certified Re-Newed programme. Buyers can now purchase last-generation flagships from Samsung at a lower official price.
The company says the refurbished phones can cost up to 85 percent of their original launch prices. Each unit also carries a one-year Samsung warranty. Before sale, Samsung inspects, refurbishes, and tests the phones.
Shoppers can buy the Certified Re-Newed models from Samsung’s website and Shop app in India. The company has not set one fixed price. The final amount depends on the variant and market. Colour options and storage capacities may also differ.
At launch, the Galaxy S26 started at Rs. 87,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Galaxy S26 Ultra started at Rs. 1,39,999 for the same configuration. Both models originally came in Blue, Black, Purple, and White.
Samsung says the refurbishment process uses genuine Samsung parts when a replacement is needed. Each phone also receives a Samsung-certified battery. The company then resets the device and clears previous user data. After that, it updates the software to the latest available version.
Warranty terms can vary by market. So can availability, configurations, colours, pricing, and promotional offers.
The Galaxy S26 runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5. It has a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. An Exynos 2600 chipset powers the phone, with 12GB RAM and storage up to 512GB.
Its rear camera setup is triple. A 50-megapixel primary sensor leads the system. A 10-megapixel telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel ultrawide camera completes the set. The battery is 4,300mAh. Charging support includes 25W wired charging and wireless charging.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra uses a larger 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate and a built-in Privacy Display. A Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset powers this model. RAM goes up to 16GB. Storage goes up to 1TB.
Galaxy AI features include Now Assist, Call Screen, and Photo Assist. The Ultra has a quad rear camera. A 200-megapixel primary sensor leads it. The set also includes 50-megapixel periscope and ultrawide cameras, plus a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The battery is 5,000mAh. Charging support is listed at 60W wired and 25W wireless.
The Certified Re-Newed launch gives buyers another official route to the Galaxy S26 series. It also keeps the phones inside Samsung’s own sales channel at a reduced price.
